Is the consistency of your Macadamia Honey Butter like Peanut Butter or Nutella?
No! Most of us grew up eating peanut butter, so we may think that all nut butters have the same consistency/texture. Since various nuts have different amounts of oil, the texture varies. Our macadamia nut honey butter is more like a thick, delicious paste. It is not as easily spreadable as peanut butter or Nutella. Because we limit our ingredients to just macadamia nuts and raw honey, the texture is nutty and just the right amount of sweet. It is delicious and nutritious. Our Macadamia Nut Honey Butters have no added sugars, salt, oils, lecithin, preservatives etc. Use a melon baller to scoop and serve with fruit, pretzel sticks, etc. See our easy Recipes/Serving Ideas section.
How long after I place my order will I receive my item in the mail?
In general, orders are shipped 1 to 3 days after the order is placed, and delivery typically takes 1 to 2 days to Hawaii neighbor islands, and 5 to 7 days to mainland locations. If you’re on Oahu, we’ll contact you when your macnut honey butter is ready for pick up. If you’re in Kailua, we offer free delivery!
After I open my jar of Macadamia Nut Honey Butter, how should I store it?
You can store your jar in a cool, dry place in your pantry for up to two weeks. Make sure the lid is on tight and keep out of direct sunlight. When stored in the pantry, finish it within 10 to 14 days. (This is never a problem in our house where a jar of our Macadamia Nut Honey Butter gets eaten in less than a week!) If you need to keep it longer, refrigerate it but like most foods, the refrigerator can dry out and harden nut butters. Let it return to room temperature before eating it. Bottom line is that its best to enjoy your Macnut Honey Butters (as well as our Festive Walnut Honey and Perfectly Pecan Honey Butter) when its fresh. Don’t let them get lost in a cabinet!
Is your Macadamia Honey Butter fattening?
If you limit your intake to two teaspoonfuls a day, its not fattening; in fact, it’s good for you. Approximately 1 tablespoon (14 grams) of our macnut honey butter has 80 calories. Macadamia nuts are loaded with healthy fats and raw honey has so many health benefits. It’s a super food!
Is your Macadamia Honey Butter Keto friendly?
That depends on how you define Keto. Our macnut honey butter has 5 grams of carbs per serving (one tablespoon). If you have self control and can stop at a teaspoonful or two, it will not throw you off the Keto train. However, if you’re doing “strict Keto,” our sympathies, as you may want to avoid this deliciousness because it contains raw honey. We may do a strict Keto version in the near future.

Help! My raw honey has crystallized. What can I do?
It’s normal for raw honey to crystallize. You can fix it by placing the jar of honey in a pot of warm water, and stirring the honey on low to medium heat until the crystals dissolve.

Do you ship internationally?

Why are Macadamia Nut Honey Butters pricey compared to other nut butters?
Macadamia nuts are the most expensive nuts and we only use top quality, local ingredients if available on island. We don’t dilute our Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Honey Butters with other less expensive nuts such as peanuts as many other companies do to keep costs down. We also use only the best raw Hawaiian honey. We get our macadamia nuts from the Big Island; the vanilla beans are grown on a small family farm on Oahu; pure cacao nibs are from a local estate on Oahu; and the 100 percent Kona Coffee beans and Ceylon cinnamon is from the Big Island of Hawaii. After turmeric, vanilla is the second most expensive spice in the world. We keep our ingredients pure, raw, local and clean. At present, the only ingredient that is not locally sourced is Matcha, as its not grown here. Inquire about our kama’aina and military discounts.
